1. Basic Provisions
The controller of personal data pursuant to Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) is ASAP-translation.com, s.r.o., Company ID: 35936339, with its registered office at Sl8dkovi4ova 5, 949 01 Nitra, Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).
The Controller operates the website www.WordMeld.cards.

Personal data shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined in GDPR.
2. Sources and Purpose of Personal Data Processing
The Controller processes personal data that you have provided to the Controller or personal data that the Controller has obtained in connection with the fulfilment of your order.
The Controller processes in particular your identification and contact details, as well as data necessary for the performance of a contract.
Personal data are processed on the basis of a legal ground or the Controller’s legitimate interest, the purpose of which is the performance of a contract.
Legal grounds for the processing of personal data are:
- performance of a contract between you and the Controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- the legitimate interest of the Controller in direct marketing activities (in particular sending commercial communications and newsletters) pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- your consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes (in particular sending commercial communications and newsletters) pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(2) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on Certain Information Society Services, provided that no order for goods or services has been placed.
The purposes of processing personal data are:
- processing your order and exercising rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the Controller; personal data required when placing an order include data necessary for successful order processing (name, address, contact details). Providing personal data is a contractual requirement; without it, the contract cannot be concluded or performed by the Controller,
- sending commercial communications and carrying out other marketing activities.
3. Data Retention Period
The Controller stores personal data:
- for the period necessary to exercise rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the Controller and to assert claims arising from such contractual relationships,
- until consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes is withdrawn, for a maximum of three (3) years, where personal data are processed on the basis of consent.
After the expiration of the data retention period, the Controller shall delete the personal data.
4. Recipients of Personal Data (Controller’s Processors)
Recipients of personal data are persons:
- involved in the delivery of goods or services or the processing of payments under a contract,
- providing e-shop operation services (website operation) and other services related to the operation of the e-shop,
- providing marketing services.
The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (outside the EU) or to an international organisation.
5. Your Rights
Under the conditions set out in GDPR, you have:
- the right to access your personal data pursuant to Article 15 GDPR,
- the right to rectification of personal data pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, or restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR,
- the right to erasure of personal data pursuant to Article 17 GDPR,
- the right to object to processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR,
- the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR,
- the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data in writing or electronically to the Controller’s address or e-mail specified above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic if you believe that your right to the protection of personal data has been violated.
6. Personal Data Security Conditions
The Controller declares that it has adopted all appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data.
The Controller has implemented technical measures to secure data storage and personal data storage in paper form.
The Controller declares that only authorised persons have access to personal data.
Final Provisions
By submitting an order via the online order form, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that you accept it in full.
By ticking the consent checkbox via the online form, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that you accept it in full.

The Controller is entitled to amend this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be published on the Controller’s website and, where applicable, sent to your e-mail address provided to the Controller.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1 December 2025.
